Friday October 5, 2018 - Deported lawyer, Miguna Miguna, has once again attacked President Uhuru Kenyatta after he warned National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) officials against paying cartels and disenfranchising real maize farmers.

Uhuru, who was speaking during the official opening of Nairobi Agriculture Show on Thursday, said that the money to pay maize farmers was catered for in the budget but was diverted by rogue NCPB officers and paid to maize cartels.

The Head of State also threatened criminal action against NCPB officials involved in the alleged mishandling of the funds further warning against similar occurrences in future.

“I promise you, and I swear before God, try that again and you will see what is going to happen to you. We have seen what you did and we will come after those responsible,'' Uhuru said.

But Miguna laughed off Uhuru’s threats saying he should not issue sacking threats given that he knows who the real thieves of maize are.

He said Uhuru is a despot and warned him that he will soon go home with his deputy, William Ruto.

Chief Despot @UKenyatta says he knows who looted the NCPB and stole farmers' money. But instead of having them arrested, charged, convicted and locked up, he "swears before God" that he will act IF THEY LOOT AGAIN. What stupidity is that? Reject tyrants & HandChequers,” Miguna said.

Mr. Chief Despot @UKenyatta wields illegitimate executive power and authority. It is him who appointed and chairs the cabinet. He appointed the NCPB board and Chief Executive. He authorises all transactions at the NCPB. Let him not play around with us. He must go home with Ruto!” Miguna added.
