Sunday October 21, 2018-Ford Kenya party leader, Moses Wetangula, is facing a serious rebellion in his own county from a section of Jubilee leaders in Bungoma over his presidential bid.

Led by the Senate Speaker, Ken Lusaka, Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa and the Bungoma County Jubilee youth coordinator Evans Kakai, the leaders, who are close allies of Deputy President William Ruto, said Wetangula is a perennial loser who has never appeared on the presidential ballot paper.

"We need serious leaders that when they announce their bids to vie for the house on the hill they mean it.”

“We don't need people who are out to auction us.”

“Luhyas should not be made into a laughing stock by a self centred individual," said Lusaka.

On his part, Barasa asked Wetangula to make a major decision that would resuscitate him politically instead of being seen as undecided politician.

"Wetangula is always claiming that he is the only chosen leader in Luhya land who would finish what was started by the late Bukusu legendaries Masinde Muliro and Michael Kijana Wamalwa, but the casual manner in which he is doing it is questionable," said Barasa.
