RUTO promises Harambee Stars millions if they beat Ethiopia this Sunday-See how much he is willing to give away just like that

Friday October 12, 2018-Deputy President William Ruto on Friday visited national team Harambee Stars in their training camp where he promised a bonus of Ksh50 million to national football team if they win the match against Ethiopia on Sunday.

The DP further revealed that all Ksh25 million allowances due to the national team have been disbursed and players will get them very soon.

This comes even as Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa announced that entry into Kasarani Stadium to watch Harambee Stars against Ethiopia will be free in a move to encourage Kenyans to show up and cheer for the team.

"I wish to announce that entry into the stadium at Kasarani will be free of charge to allow Kenyans cheer their team to victory,” declared Echesa.

The national team has received immense support as Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has also offered to provide free transport in the form of 150 buses for fans within the city as well as a Ksh3 million cash reward.

Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga has confirmed that she will also provide 100 buses to ferry fans from designated pick up point in the county’s wards.
