RUTO fires back at RAILA for lying to Kenyans about the fight against corruption as he says DPP and EACC are leading the fight and not RAILA

Tuesday October 2, 2018 - Deputy President William Ruto has fired back at Opposition leader, Raila Odinga, and his allies accusing them of pretending to fight corruption in the country despite the existence of institutions mandated to fight graft.

Speaking in Mombasa yesterday, Ruto said there was no law in the Constitution giving any mandate to NASA leader, Raila Odinga, his MPs or any politician to fight corruption in the country.

The DP said Raila and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) members should not politicise the war against graft but the institutions mandated by the Constitution to fight corruption do their job.

"I want to ask my friends to stop pretending they are spearheading the fight against corruption in Kenya.”

“We have independent institutions mandated by law to fight against graft and no politician should politicise the war against graft," said Ruto.
