REVEALED: Here is why police drove Citizen TV’s JACQUE MARIBE’s killer fiancé, JOWIE, around the city over the weekend - This is serious

Monday October 8, 2018 - Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) moved to at least three estates in Nairobi over the weekend while in the company of Joe Irungu, the main suspect in the murder of Monica Kimani.

The officers drove Joe Irungu, popularly known as Jowi, who is also the fiancé of TV girl, Jacque Maribe, to estates believed to be residences of some of his friends in a bid to find traces of more evidence.

Jowi was also taken to the route where the car belonging to Jacque Maribe was spotted on the night Monica was killed as officers searched for the murder weapon.

The homicide detectives also took Irungu back to Monica Kimani’s apartment in Kilimani and then to Jacque’s house at Royal Park Estate in Lang'ata with the hope of recovering the knife that he used to slit her throat.

But as at yesterday, the police had not yet recovered the murder weapon.
