Relax, Al-Shabaab are not planning to bomb Times Towers and Treasury-BOINNET assures people working in the two buildings

Friday October 26, 2018-Inspector General of Police, Joseph Boinnet, has rubbished claims of a terror plot at Times Tower and the National Treasury.
This is after social and mainstream media was awash with rumours on Friday that terrorists were eyeing the two buildings on Haile Selassie and Harambee Avenue in Nairobi.
The rumours came in the back drop of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Mashujaa Day speech on October 20 that the Kenya Defence Forces will not be pulled out of Somalia, where they are fighting the Al-Shabaab terrorists.
Speaking on Friday, Boinnet urged Kenyans to go about their businesses as normal, especially those working from Times Towers and the National Treasury building, as there was no any immediate threats on their lives.
He also assured Kenyans that the police were on high alert and that they have got their back.
There were no claims of responsibility from any militant group regarding the alleged Nairobi attack.
