Rebellion as DP WILLIAM RUTO’s Kalenjin MPs walk out on UHURU in Bomet-The President never expected this at all

Tuesday October 23, 2018-President Uhuru Kenyatta was yesterday shocked while on tour of Bomet County after a section  of Kalenjin MPs walked out of his meeting in protest.

The visibly agitated MPs accused their Governor, Joyce Laboso, of undermining them after she failed to give them a chance to address the public during the rally.

Led by Bomet Senator, Christopher Langat, and Woman Rep, Joyce Korir, the leaders said they had issues of concern to the locals they wanted addressed by the President.

Other legislators who stormed out of Uhuru’s rally include nominated Senator Alice Milgo, MPs Ronald Tanui (Bomet Central), Beatrice Kones (Bomet East), Brighton Yegon (Konoin), and Gideon Koskei (Chepalungu).

They also accused Governor Laboso of nepotism in awarding contracts for the construction of the university, saying most workers at the institution were from one community.

The dramatic event unfolded Bomet University College where Uhuru was officially opening the institution's Green Tuition Block.
