OKOTH OBADO may die in prison as Judge JESSIE LESSIT sends him back to prison until Friday - You are a murderer and you belong to jail

Monday October 8, 2018 - Embattled Migori Governor, Okoth Obado, has taken a new plea together with two other accused persons after the court allowed the prosecutor to amend the charge sheet to include the murder of Sharon Otieno's unborn baby.

The court consolidated Obado's case with that of his Personal Assistant, Michael Oyamo, and Caspal Obiero, who works as a Clerk at the Migori County Government, and the revised charges read to them afresh.

Appearing at the Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi on Monday, the three accused persons pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder of Sharon and her unborn baby.

Presiding Judge Jessie Lessit ordered them to be returned to Industrial Area Remand Prison and to be brought back to court on Friday for their bail hearing.

This comes even as the prosecution is opposed to Obado and his co-accused to be given bail owing to their positions and influence in Migori County.
