MUDAVADI goes for MP OSOTSI and Senator PETRONILA for stealing a whopping Ksh56 million as DCI summons them

Thursday October 11, 2018-Musalia Mudavadi led Amani National Congress (ANC) has initiated investigations into an alleged theft of KSh56 million by the party leaders.
Nominated MP Godfrey Osotsi and Nominated Senator, Petronila Were, are accused of stealing the money in 2017.
The money is reported to have gone missing during the 2017 election period when Osotsi was the party secretary general and Petronila was its executive director.
According to sources, the two have also received summon letters by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to record statement over the matter.
ANC had launched a complaint to the DCI after a party audit showed over KSh56 million was unaccounted.
The DCI wrote to the clerks of the National Assembly and the Senate to ask the two to appear before them.
“This office is investigating allegations of misappropriation of ANC Party funds by party officials between January 2016 and December 2017.”
“We kindly but urgently require the said nominated senator to report to DCI headquarters on Monday, 15th October 2018 at 0900 hours for statement recording,” read the DCI letter in part.
