Sunday, October 7, 2018 - K24 news anchor, Eric Njoka, has for the first time opened up on his hitherto unknown side hustle and it’s a stunning revelation.

When he’s not reading news or hosting a show on TV, Eric Njoka is a morgue attendant.

While he looks very much at home in the company of the dead in the morgue, he admits that his dream was never to become a mortician but was influenced by his father.

“My dream was not to work here, my dream was to become a journalist but my dad did not appreciate that career,” Njoka said

Njoka works at Mukoe Funeral Home, which is based in Githunguri, Kiambu County.

His job entails washing, preparing and storing dead bodies before burial and he goes about his duties with a smile on his face.

“You should never be afraid of being in a mortuary, it’s just a normal process, it’s just like being in a hospital,” he asserts.
