If you are a parent and you help your child to cheat in this year’s KCPE and KCSE, all your certificates will be cancelled

Monday October 15, 2018-The Ministry of Education has dropped a bombshell on parents planning to help their children to cheat in this year’s national examinations.

Speaking at the Kenya School of Government, Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang said the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) will recall certificates of parents and teachers found aiding in examination cheating.

To further tighten the noose on exam cheats, Kipsang stated only exam centre managers will be allowed to have mobile phones inside examination rooms.

Similar sentiments were echoed by Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed, who warned that apart from recalling certificates, those found culpable of attempts to cheat, collude or to compromise the examination process will be apprehended on the spot, de-registered, charged and prosecuted.

Following the announcement, parents have been urged to let their children do the exams without any interference or else they will find themselves in deep trouble.

  1. stop this none sense of exam cheating all the time. You are the one's making our education useless. After all, the education has been reduces to only 8 subject - and the student should be scoring A - cos it has been made so cheap for zombies to pass - yet they don't pass.
