Here is why UHURU was laughing uncontrollably when he met KAMARU’s sister CATHERINE MUTHONI – This happened in 1970s

Saturday October 13, 2018-On Thursday this week President Uhuru Kenyatta attended the burial of legendary Kikuyu singer, Joseph Kamaru, in Muthithi village, Muranga County.

The President, who was accompanied by Deputy President William Ruto and National Super Alliance(NASA) leader, Raila Odinga, led thousands of mourners in paying final respect to the “King of Kikuyu music”

However during the burial, a woman sauntered to the podium where President Uhuru Kenyatta was seated.

The woman was Kamaru‘s sister Catherine Muthoni whom the president embraced warmly when they met.

At one point, they hugged and she whispered something to Uhuru who later broke out in laughter drawing attention of the mourners including Ruto.

In an interview with K24 on Friday evening, Catherine narrated how he met Uhuru who was only 10 years when she and her brother Kamaru were invited to State House in 1970s.

Mzee Kenyatta used to invite Kamaru and his sister to entertain him during his sunset years.

“There was time we used to go to State House that is when I met Jomo Kenyatta, way before Uhuru was born. Uhuru would later sneak sodas and hand me. He was very generous," Catherine remembered.
