Here is what MWAI KIBAKI said about the looming referendum – RAILA ODINGA and his sycophants will hate him for good

Thursday October 11, 2018-Retired President Mwai Kibaki has added his voice over the looming referendum initiated by National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga.

Raila, 74, has been moving across the country saying the country must undergo a referendum to make the constitution stronger.

“The referendum calls are to make the 2010 Constitution better and stronger, and most importantly to safeguard the supreme law,” Raila said during a rally in Migori County last week.

Now, in a statement issued by Democratic Party (DP) on Wednesday, the party opposed the referendum.

The party, that was founded by Mr Kibaki in 1990s, said the referendum is expensive and unnecessary.

“The country is currently struggling to raise money to implement the agenda of good housing, security, industrialisation and health among others. Those calling for the referendum were misadvised,”DP National organising secretary Peter Njagi.

He instead asked those calling for a referendum to support the Big Four Agenda for the well-being of Kenya.
