Here are politicians who are making the KALENJIN community look like a pack of greedy hyenas led by their chief priest, MURKOMEN

Monday October 29, 2018 - Emurua Dikir MP, Johanna Ngeno, has lambasted Kalenjin community lawmakers who are pressurising President Uhuru Kenyatta to endorse Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential bid in 2022.

Last week, Kalenjin community lawmakers led by Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen, and his Nandi counterpart, Samson Cherargai, asked Uhuru to break his silence about the succession issue and announce that his 2013 pre-election deal with his deputy still stands.

But according to Ngeno, it was wrong for the politicians to demand Ruto's endorsement for the top seat even before Uhuru had settled into his second term.

The outspoken KANU MP said the restlessness being exhibited by some Rift Valley leaders was harming the DP's chances because it was portraying the Kalenjin community in bad light.

"It is only one year since the last general election.”

“There are four more years to another election.”

“Between now and then, so many things will have changed.”

“The picture Kenyans are getting is that Kalenjins are power hungry.”

“That is wrong," Ngeno said.
