DPP NORDIN HAJI orders both JACQUE MARIBE and JOWIE to be charged with murder of MONICA KIMANI - They better start watching Prison Break.

Tuesday October 9, 2018 - The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Noordin Haji, has ordered that TV journalist, Jacqueline Wanjiru Maribe, and Joseph Kuria Irungu alias Jowie be charged with the murder of Monica Kimani.

In a statement he issued on Tuesday morning, Haji said he had independently reviewed the evidence so far on record and found that there is sufficient evidence to charge the two with first degree murder.

"I have therefore directed that they be immediately arraigned before the High Court and charged accordingly."

"I am satisfied that there exists a prima facie to warrant criminal prosecution … for the offence murder contrary to section 203 as read with section 204 of the Penal Code," Haji said in a statement to the press.

The DPP also ordered the two to be arraigned in court immediately to answer to murder charges.

Monica was found dead last month at her apartment in Kilimani with her throat slit and hands tied.
