Tuesday, October 09, 2018 - Dennis Itumbi has taken to social media to post a message of support to his ex-lover, Citizen TV’s Jacque Maribe, who is facing murder charges.

Itumbi, who is the Director of Digital, Innovations and Diaspora Communications in the Office of the President, assured Maribe that she will always be in his prayers and remained optimistic that she will find justice.

He wrote:

Jacqueline Maribe, you remain in my prayers. May Justice, like many waters be done. May Monica & her family find the answers they deserve & those responsible be punished as per by law established. But may you find Justice, that you equally deserve. You got my hand of friendship.”

Maribe and her fiancé, Joseph Irungu alias Jowie, were today charged with the cold blooded murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani at her Nairobi apartment.

They will however be remanded (Maribe at Lang’ata Women prison and Jowi at Industrial Area) until Monday October 15th when they take pleas.
