Citizen TV’s JACQUE MARIBE reveals the Luo Man who was planted as a spy inside her cell at Gigiri.

Wednesday, October 18, 2018-Citizen TV’s murder suspect, Jacque Maribe, claims that a spy was planted by detectives  inside her cell at the Gigiri Police Station.

Maribe revealed this in a sworn affidavit where she accused  lead investigator in the murder case  of Monica Kimani, Chief Inspector Maxwell Otieno, of sending a spy to try and extract information from her.

The embattled Citizen TV anchor narrated in a sworn affidavit how a man called Kennedy Kenneth Omondi(K.K Omondi) was brought into her cell.

“I suspect K.K. Omondi was planted by C.Insp.M. Otieno…to investigate and extract information. He probably thought I had something I was holding back whilst in fact I had disclosed everything,” Maribe said.

She claims KK Omondi was the only male occupant allowed to mingle freely and interact with female detainees despite a strict gender separation rule enforced on other detainees.

Maribe alleges that Omondi was allowed to keep and use his phone.

He was being brought food from Java while other detainees ate food provided in the cell.

She further said   Mr Omondi  told her that he was arrested over drug trafficking and he  kept on asking her questions concerning Monica’s murder.

Immediately upon being checked in, the said K.K. Omondi told me he was arrested on drug trafficking accusations on the night of September 29,2018 (2am), that he lives in Kilimani, that he frequents a place called Rubi -Cut and that he knows my house in Royal Park. He repeatedly asked me questions that were not in public domain including what kind of the investigating officer, C. Insp. M. Otieno is and that his house in Kilimani was searched and set upside down while looking for drugs in a similar manner as mine at Royal Park was case,” Maribe said in a sworn affidavit.

I was advised by other detainees and security personnel to be careful with him in view of his interest in my situation. She added.

She is currently remanded at Langata Womens Prison awaiting her bail application on October 24th.
