RAILA ODINGA tells UHURU to reclaime Kenya’s land that was grabbed by Dictator IDI AMIN DADA and MUSEVENI has refused to let it go

Tuesday September 25, 2018 - National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga, has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to reclaim the Kenyan land that was grabbed by late Ugandan dictator, Idi Amin Dada, in 1970s.

Speaking in Kondele, Kisumu, where he launched the micro loans lender Unaitas’ branch on Monday, Raila said Amin took Remba, Lolwe, Sigulu and Hama islands, which belonged to Kenya, in 1971.

Raila said those living in those islands are Luos, Manyala and Samia.

“The islands were in Kenya and were taken by Amin. We want them back," said Raila.

The former Premier said the boundary of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania on Lake Victoria must be reviewed and well demarcated to prevent economic conflicts.

"Every country should be able to know her boundary on the lake.”

“We enjoy working closely with our neighbours and therefore boundaries should be reviewed,” he said.

Raila also noted that Migingo Island is in Kenya and Kenyans should not be harassed and intimidated
