You must surrender Weston Hotel if you want the presidency in 2022 - MUTAHI NGUNYI tells RUTO about his 2022 ambitions

Monday August 20, 2018 - Renowned political analyst, Prof Mutahi Ngunyi, has told Deputy President William Ruto that he must surrender Weston Hotel in Nairobi if he wants to win the Presidency in 2022.
The multibillion hotel is situated along Langata Road and is said to be constructed on public land belonging to Kenya Airports Authority (KAA).

While advising Ruto in his channel, Ngunyi said the only way Ruto will come out of the controversy is by surrendering the building for demolition.

Mutahi, who is famous for his Tyranny of Numbers hypothesis in 2013 that led to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win, insisted that giving up Weston Hotel would clear his image ahead of 2022 when he expects to vie for the country's Presidency.

"The cost of losing a few buildings without a fight is nothing compared to the price of becoming the President," Mutahi said.

"Ruto should not interrupt the State aggression towards him.”

2A man who says we cannot fix corruption in this country should not interrupt the man fixing corruption," Mutahi added.

Ruto’s Weston Hotel is a target of the ongoing demolition that is spearheaded by Nairobi Regeneration team and Nairobi County Government.
