We will support DPP NOORDIN HAJI with money to fight corruption effectively and send thieves to jail - RUTO tells Kenyans

Sunday August 12, 2018 - Deputy President William Ruto has said the Executive will allocate more money to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions to make sure that graft is eliminated in the country.
Speaking on Saturday during the launch of Kesses Constituency Youth and Women Empowerment Programme at Eldoret Sports Club grounds in Uasin Gishu County, Ruto said him and the President want the DPP, Noordin Hajj, and his team to carry out their work without hindrance.

“As the Executive arm of the government, ours is to ensure that all departments charged with oversight and the Judiciary are well financed so that they can effectively undertake their mandate,” Ruto said.

“We want to see to it that the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is well financed so that it keeps up its good work in the fight against graft and other criminal activities,” Ruto said.

During the event, 700 students were recruited to join the Eldoret National Polytechnic and the first phase of the Cow Program launched courtesy of the area MP, Dr Swarup Mishra.


  1. Start by giving the judiciary money, not stiffing it. They will be key to the end game once cases come up for litigation. And they will flood in. It is time for lawyers to reap their pound of flesh from the merchants of impunity!

    Otherwise i agree with you DP, resources must be used to fight impunity wheeler dealer because they have enough loot to shoot any efforts down.
