UHURU wants MARAGA and all judges and magistrates to take polygraph tests – The judiciary is a brothel of corruption

Monday August 27, 2018 - President Uhuru Kenyatta has proposed to the National Security and Advisory Committee (NSAC) that he personally wants all Judges and Magistrates to be subjected to polygraph tests to weed out corrupt and lazy judges.

Sources within the Presidency says Uhuru  is concerned with the rising cases of corruption in the Judiciary and wants the Chief Justice David Maraga to lead the exercise of weeding out corrupt Judges and Magistrates from the Judiciary.

Uhuru made this suggestion after he received an intelligence report that one of the Supreme Court judges is engaging in acts of corruption and tax evasion.

Uhuru received reports from KRA officers who said the Judge has been moving large sums of money in and out of bank accounts.

Maraga, who is the head of the Judiciary, has previously indicated that there will be no sacred cows, even within the corridors of justice, in the fight against corruption.

“I have no room for corrupt judicial officers.”

“Know that you are alone if you are corrupt and expect no sympathy, mercy or protection from my office.” Maraga said in June when Uhuru went full blast in the ongoing corruption purge.
