UHURU lauds RAILA over South Sudan peace as President SALVA KIIR and rebel leader, RIEK MACHAR, shake hands again

Monday August 6, 2018 - President Uhuru Kenyatta has applauded the parties
to the South Sudan conflict for signing an agreement on the outstanding issues
on governance and security geared towards restoring peace in South Sudan.
Speaking
when he witnessed the historic signing of the agreement in Khartoum, Sudan, on
Sunday evening, Uhuru assured President Salva Kiir and rebel leader, Riek
Machar, of Kenya’s full support to South Sudan.
He
also thanked NASA Leader, Raila Odinga, for successfully brokering the peace
deal between Kiir and Machar
