Saturday August 11, 2018 - NASA leader, Raila Odinga, has hailed his March 9th handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta saying it has stabilised the country.

Speaking at Murang’a University of Technology where he received a heroic welcome, Raila said Kenya was on the path to political and economic stability after his March 9th handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

He also named ethnicity, poorly managed elections and corruption as some of Kenya’s biggest threats.

The NASA leader called on all Kenyans to support Uhuru, the DPP and the Judiciary in the war against corruption.

“We need to save Kenya from being defined as corrupt, violent and facing other evils.”

“A lot of energies should be directed towards eradicating these vices,” Raila said.

At the same time, Raila slammed Deputy President William Ruto over his early 2022 campaigns saying it was unfortunate the country was on a perpetual campaign mode, a situation he noted causes destruction to property and forces businesses to close.
