Tuesday August 7, 2018 - A serious political battle is expected in Parliament as MPs begin the debate on the controversial sugar report.

This is after MPs and individuals said to wield power in Government and political circles launched a campaign to have a report on contraband sugar rejected.

According to sources, MPs plan to reject the sugar report after it emerged that it was doctored and altered to save Treasury Cabinet Secretary, Henry Rotich, his East African counterpart, Adan Mohammed, also former CS for Industrialization, and former Agriculture CS, Willy Bett, who had been indicted the committee over the poisonous sugar in the country.
