SHOCK as DPP and DCI arrest a Jubilee politician for obtaining sh25 million through fraudulent means! No jokes this time

Tuesday August 14, 2018 - An outspoken Jubilee politician from Kilifi was arrested yesterday
in Nairobi by DCI officers on orders from the Director of Public Prosecutions,
Noordin Haji, before being taken to Malindi Police Station following allegations
that he obtained sh25 million fraudulently.
Ibrahim
Abdi Athman alias Matumbo, a former Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Watamu
Ward, was reported to have been hiding in Nairobi after conning various people
millions of shillings back home.
The
DCI officers led by their Deputy, Patrick Okwara, smoked the politician out of
his home in Nairobi, transferred him to Malindi and later proceeded to take him
to court.
However,
Athman denied all the charges before Malindi Chief Magistrate Julie Oseko.
He
was accused of conspiring to defraud four apartments known as E1, E2, E12, E18
and the bank premises from Moorgate Investments limited all valued at
approximately sh25 million.
