Wednesday August 15, 2018 - Embakasi East MP, Babu Owino, has castigated MPs who were bribed to reject the contraband sugar report that had recommended for the prosecution of three Cabinet Secretaries.
Sharing his sentiments on social media on Tuesday, Owino said that it is disturbing to see some MPs shielding sugar barons who pose a threat to the health of Kenyans.

“Shame on MPs who received 10K bribe to save cabinet secretaries whose names came up in the mercury laced sugar report.”

“It is disturbing that some legislatures are shielding sugar barons who are keen on stopping destruction of the aforementioned poisonous sugar.”

“We must never play politics and opt for handouts at the expense of helpless Kenyans who entirely depend on us to protect them from these evil business people whose main and only concern is profits and not lives of our people.”

“These sugar barons are worse than terrorists and we MPs must never be their accomplices,” Babu Owino said.

The first time MP added that MPs should avoid playing politics and taking bribes at the expense of helpless Kenyans who entirely depend on them to protect them from evil business people whose only concern is profit.

“We must never play politics & opt for handouts at the expense of helpless Kenyans who entirely depend on us to protect them from these evil business people whose main and only concern is profits.”

“These sugar barons are worse than terrorists & we MPs must never be their accomplices” Babu Owino concluded.
