SHAME!! KAJWANG and 3 Senators were demanding a sh 100million bribe from the controversial Ruaraka land owner FRANCIS MBURU

Monday August 20, 2018 - The man behind the controversial Ruaraka Land Scandal has told the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) that 4 Senators from the Public Accounts Committee were demanding a Sh 100 million bribe from him to write a favourable report on him.
According to a Senior detective attached to DCI Headquarters along Kiambu Road, the four Senators who were acting at the behest of PAC chairman, Moses Kajwang, summoned Mburu and they demanded a Sh 100 million bribe from him so that they clear him.

Mburu is said to have recorded a statement at the DCI headquarters, and shared with the detectives an audio he recorded of the three men and a woman purportedly extorting money from him.

Detectives were reportedly told that the Senators approached the businessman on separate occasions saying they wanted the money to share with other members of a committee investigating the issue to write “a favourable report”.

They all met at a five-star hotel in the city where the businessman recorded them claiming “we can help you all”.

Mr Mburu is said to have declined to give out the money telling them that he is innocent.
CID boss, George Kinoti, has said he is investigating the case and the four Senators will soon be known to the public.
