SHAME as ANN NGIRITA and LILIAN OMOLLO catwalk with Kenyans’ money while MARAGA runs around making empty promises

Wednesday August 15, 2018 - Nairobi Principal Magistrate, Peter Aoko, has said the trial of former Youth PS, Lillian Omollo, and former NYS Director General, Richard Ndubai, will take place from January 7 to 31 next year.
Aoko made the announcement on Wednesday after meeting the defence lawyers of over 41 NYS suspects who were arrested in connection with the loss of Sh 9 billion from the public funded institution.

The 2019 hearing dates go against Chief Justice David Maraga’s spirit of the expeditious resolution of cases.

In June this year, Maraga said that the Judiciary will focus on corruption cases and promised Kenyans that the cases will be resolved as soon as possible.

He also asked Judges and Magistrates handling the cases to fast track the cases and ensure that justice is served to all.

However, despite Maraga’s promises, Kenyans across the political divide have expressed their fury over the dates of the hearing saying the Judiciary is a major obstacle towards making Kenya a corrupt free State.

Here are some comments from angry Kenyans;

In Kenya a chicken thief will be arrested today and sentenced tomorrow to a 25 year jail term. A corrupt pig who has stolen billions will have the case drag on for 10 years and eventually be dismissed,” said Sammy Mwangi.

The judiciary is the graveyard under the leadership of oldmam Maraga,” Muturi Orapo wrote.

“Uhuru please call a referendum to scrap the Judiciary, NASA supporters in western are ready to support you. Maraga should home to Nyamira,” Peter Abila.

Judiciary is the main corruption cartel affecting Kenyans. Let scrap this Judiciary and start stoning the thieves to death,” Susan Makau

With Maraga being the head of the Judiciary, corruption cannot be eliminated in Kenya,” Dr Sam Mwongeri wrote.
