RUTO now told to market his 2022 Presidential bid in RAILA’s turf of LUO Nyanza as the date draws near! He can win in 2022

Saturday August 11, 2018 - Deputy President William Ruto's allies in Nyanza have challenged him to visit Kisumu and market his 2022 Presidential bid saying that was the only sure way he will win over Luos.

Led by Nyanza Jubilee branch Secretary General, Mr Steve Biko, the Jubilee leaders asked Ruto to reach out to all communities as he steps up his Presidential bid in 2022.

Steve Biko spoke as it emerged that a Catholic Church had invited the Deputy President for a fundraiser in September 2018.

He encouraged the DP to use the opportunity of the church fundraiser to woo Luos to support his 2022 Presidential bid.

'We want to see a more inclusive approach exhibited by Ruto as he lobbies the rest of Kenyans to back his bid to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta,'' Biko said.

Members of the function's coordinating committee - Richard Onyisi and Cephas Kasera - said they had confirmed the Deputy President received the letter and were waiting for his response.
