RUTO and his allies force outspoken MP ALFRED KETER to eat humble pie as he retracts his remark against DP and his 2022 bid

Friday August 17, 2018 - Nandi Hills MP, Alfred Keter, has found himself in a tight corner and was forced to retract his anti-Deputy President William Ruto remark which many felt was demeaning.

This is after he claimed that Ruto was a notorious thief and therefore cannot be trusted with leadership.

He also vowed to criss-cross the country to warn Kenyans against electing the DP in 2022 because in his view, he is irredeemably corrupt, something that angered the DP and his allies in Rift Valley.

However, speaking to Kass FM today, Keter tendered his unreserved apologies to Ruto and the Kalenjin community who might have been offended saying he was misquoted.

"I stand by my remarks on my unwavering support for Uhuru in his fight against corruption.”

“I apologise to anybody who might have felt offended by my statement.”

“We should not create enemies.”

“We need other people in this journey," Keter said.

Keter had also alleged that Ruto’s friends were stealing from Kenyans and vowed never to have anything to do with them.

  1. Na wewe na wahindi je? Hebu tueleze kinaga ubaga! Kijana Keter, kabla uja elekeza kidole kwa rasa ya nugu mwingine, tazama yako kwanza vile imepanuka. Kezi ya bearer bonds bado, weighbridge sijui ata ilifika wapi. Na hizo ni zile tunajua tu.

I fully agree with your sentiments however of total support to Uhuru at this time of cleanup. This grabbing impunity must end yesterday!

Next we deal with traffic cops! We need robo cops. These humans have become worse than leeches!
