Direct Sales Representatives

Greenland Fedha Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of KTDA Holdings and a Micro Finance Institution with a country wide network whose mandate is to provide financial services to the low income households in the tea sub-sector. We are seeking to recruit highly talented professionals to contribute positively to our business growth.
To qualify for this position, interested candidates must have a proven track record of performance; possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Computer literacy, ability to meet deadlines and deliver under pressure is essential.
Position Scope
Reporting to the Senior Credit officer/ Area Manager the Direct Sales Representatives (DSR) overall responsibility is to market GFL’s Biometric Security Solution and PESA ULIPO, among the tea growers in all the factory companies.
Key Responsibilities for the Direct Sales Representatives Job:
·         Creating awareness of the GFL’s BSS Project through various forums;
·         Assisting the customers in completing the BSS registration according to the prescribed criteria,
·         Validating information provided by the customers.
·         Responding to customers queries in regard to BSS project

Qualifications

The ideal candidates must possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies:
·         A minimum of C plain in KCSE or Division II in KCE
·         A diploma/degree in business, community development, teaching,
·         A good understanding of the tea sector environment;
·         Good communication and interpersonal skills
·         Experience in selling fast moving products or working with communities will be an added advantage.

Accounts Manager – Micro Insurance
Majani Insurance Brokers is a leading, independent insurance broker for both business and private clients.

Position Scope
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of new micro business, renewals and midterm policy changes in order to realise MIB’s profitability and facilitate realization of budgeted production in order to achieve profitable portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Managerial Roles and Responsibilities
·         Setting Micro insurance policy and strategy in coordination with the Head of Operations
·         Monitoring operational tools and processes for the micro insurance business and customers
·         Controlling the quality of the portfolio to ensure profitability
·         Establish a system to measure ,monitor and control customer service across the country
·         Research and promote Micro insurance products which are relevant to various consumer segments
·         Ensure that a assigned budget is implemented and monitored
·         Facilitate implementation of the strategic goals for micro insurance
·         Implement agreed service level agreements with external service providers and underwriters
·         Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements
·         Controlling the quality of the micro insurance portfolio
·         Growing customer base through digital technology and working with relevant underwriters to achieve this

Qualifications

·         A bachelors degree or equivalent in a business related field;
·         Postgraduate Diploma in Insurance
·         Must be a member of ACII or AIIK
·         Minimum of eight (8) years post qualification experience;
·         Should have thorough knowledge of the relevant industry/sector as well as knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting the relevant sector
·         Must have ability to plan, organize, implement and evaluate assigned goals
·         Must demonstrate ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities, and work under strict deadlines.
·         Should have strong analytical and be result oriented
·         Must have high standards of integrity and ethical practice
·         Must be capable of functioning effectively both as a team player and a team leader
·         Must have management skills
·         Must have ability to accurately plan work assignments, prioritize tasks and deliver deadlines
·         Should have problem solving and decision making abilities
·         Must have knowledge in use of MS office packages

Foreman (Fabrications)
Tea Machinery and Engineering Company Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kenya Tea Development Agency Holdings Ltd, whose mandate is to fabricate tea processing and other machinery. It also compliments machinery fabrication with installation and supply of parts and specialized consumables.  To ensure continued success and growth, we are seeking a dynamic and highly talented individual to join our management team in the following exciting and challenging position.
Interested candidates must have a proven track record of performance, possess excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
Position scope
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and timely production of quality goods.

 Key Responsibilities

·         Daily Planning and allocation of duties to machine operators;
·         Supervising in process work for quality and timely delivery;
·         Implementing of safety policy in the shop floor;
·         Inspection of raw materials for quality and correct specification;
·         Developing of Purchase request for various projects and interpretation of manufacturing drawings;
·         Generating of process feed-back reports for accounting purpose;
·         Coordinating of workshop functions with other departments;
·         Supervising general sheet metal and steel fabrication;
·         Supervising welding activities;
·         Ensuring effective spray painting;
·         Assembling, testing of finished production jobs and dismantling of the same for dispatch;
·         Ensuring parts are stored properly and are identifiable;
·         Ensuring compliance to health and safety requirements;
·         Executing the production plan.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications and competencies: –
·         Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or related field;
·         A minimum of Five (5) Years of relevant experience;
·         Membership to Engineering Board;
·         Must demonstrate ability to understand and document workflows and business processes;
·         Should have thorough knowledge of the relevant sector as well as knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting the relevant sector;
·         Must have ability to plan, organize, implement and evaluate assigned goals;
·         Must demonstrate ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities, and work under strict deadlines;
·         Must have knowledge in use of MS office packages
