Tuesday August 28, 2018 - The new Director General of the troubled National Youth Service (NYS), Matilda Sakwa, has dared President Uhuru Kenyatta to arrest her if another corruption scandal emerges in the institution under her watch.

Speaking during an interview with the media, Sakwa said there will be no ther scandal in NYS as long as she will still be in charge.

“As long as I’m here, there will be no scandal.”

“If it happens, you’ll ask me that day.”

“You’ll find me at Lang’ata Women’s Prison.”

“Nobody is ready to go to Lang’ata,” Sakwa said.

At the same time, Sakwa said she is satisfied with her pay and won’t be needing any more looted money from the NYS.

“My salary is enough.”

“In fact, it is more than I need.”

“My children are old enough.”

“The only thing I can do is to assist my brother’s children.”

“I don’t have the appetite to steal.”

“And I don’t think it will come at this age,” she said.
