MV Iron Lady is at the dock in Mombasa waiting to bring in more poisonous sugar - JAKOYO MIDIWO reveals the faces behind it

Tuesday August 14, 2018 - Former Gem MP, Jakoyo Midiwo, has revealed that a large ship has docked at the port of Mombasa carrying tonnes of poisonous sugar.
Appearing on an interview with NTV on Tuesday, Midiwo, who is also  a cousin of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga said the ship is named MV Iron Lady and is set to further complicate the ongoing sugar saga originating from the 2017 mass import.

“As we are speaking, a ship named MV Iron Lady is waiting to dock at the port of Mombasa with more sugar,’’ Midiwo said.

The former lawmaker further blamed the sugar barons implicated in the initial scandal of the new one, terming it part of the plan to flood the nation with cheap sugar.

“The shipment is part of the ongoing sugar controversy,’’ said the former lawmaker.

This comes at a time when daggers have been drawn in the National Assembly, following Thursday’s controversial rejection of the report of the committee investigating the initial saga.

Sources said MPs were bribed with Sh 10,000 each to reject the report.
