Sunday August 5, 2018 - Deputy President William Ruto now has no choice but to have a man from Murang’a County as his Deputy come 2022.

This comes even as he continues making inroads in Mt. Kenya region in the wake of divisions over who will succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta when his term comes to an end in 2022.

Speaking on Friday, Murang’a, politicians who addressed a gathering in Kandara Constituency and later in Maragua, openly rooted for Governor Mwangi wa Iria as Ruto's presidential running mate.
