MIDIWO urges DPP HAJJ and DCI KINOTI to save Kenyans from the 12th Parliament - They want to kill us all with impunity

Wednesday August 15, 2018 - Former Gem MP, Jakoyo Midiwo, has urged the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji to swiftly look into claims that some MPs were paid off to shoot down a joint committee report on illegal sugar in the country.

This follows allegations that the MPs could have been bribed by their Wajir counterpart, Fatuma Gedi, inside the toilets to reject the sugar report and in the process save East African Cabinet Secretary, Adan Mohammed, and his Treasury counterpart, Henry Rotich, from possible impeachment for opening the floodgates that allowed poisonous sugar into the country.

Midiwo now wants the MPs investigated to save Kenyans who are consuming the poisonous sugar on a daily basis.

"The DCI must save Kenyans from this Parliament whose actions of overlooking the details of such a brilliant report are unacceptable and in fact it is murderous.”

"I am a proponent of more power to be given to Parliament but what we have had since the new constitution is dysfunctional and inoperable.”

“I have been there and I know this is not what Kenyans need," said Midiwo.
