KIDERO’s son, RONALD, arrested for selling adulterated fuel along Kiambu Road - He is a thief just like his rogue father

Friday August 10, 2018 - The son of former Nairobi Governor, Dr Evans Kidero, was arrested in connection with selling adulterated fuel along Kiambu Road.
Ronald Kidero, who runs a petrol station along Ridgeways, was arrested by detectives after a customer reported that the petrol station was selling adulterated fuel.

“Someone complained that he fuelled in that petrol station and his car got spoilt.”

“We are likely to charge him with malicious damage to property,” said a senior CID officer who requested anonymity.

Earlier in the day, his father denied three counts of corruption-related offences.

Kidero was taken to court at about 9am but took a plea to the charges at 3.17pm because the prosecution was trying to arrest other suspects to be charged together with the former Governor.

The former Governor’s lawyer, Tom Ojienda, complained about inordinate delay in charging the former Nairobi City boss saying it amounted to violation of his client’s rights.

The prosecution said Kidero committed the offence of conspiracy leading to loss of public funds amounting to Sh213 million for services not rendered.
