IAN WAFULA thanks LARRY MADOWO and reveals how he challenged him to quit K24 for BBC.

...God’s manifestation in this process having been rejected 4 times after endless tests and grueling interviews.”

“What’s yours is yours, at the right time.,” he posted on social media.

Wafula singled out special thanks to fellow journalist, Larry Madowo, who joined BBC from NTV, early this year, for challenging him.

He added:

“Thanking my family and close friends for standing by me.”

“Special thanks to Larry Madowo for the three challenging words “You deserve better” that took me off my comfort zone to yearn for greater opportunities,”

Ian becomes the latest Kenyan journalist to join the British owned media house recently.

The Daystar University graduate started his media journey at KTN in 2013 as an intern before he was employed after six months.

He left the Moi owned media house in December 2015 for K24.
