Here is what the late Minister, Dr HENRY OBWOCHA, told me before he met his maker – UHURU reveals a phone call with him

Thursday August 16, 2018 - President Uhuru Kenyatta has revealed that he had a lengthy conversation with former Cabinet Minister, Dr Henry Obwocha, who died last week.
Prior to his death, Obwocha was the chairman of the Privatisation Commission of Kenya.

Speaking during his requiem mass in Nairobi on Wednesday, Uhuru who enjoyed a close friendship with Obwocha said the former Minister had requested him to complete Igena-Itambe Dispensary, which is located few meters from his home.

“I am yet to come to terms because I even spoke to him four days before he died.”

“I am still in shock but life must go on.”

“He personally called me and asked me to complete Igena-Itambe Dispensary and that is what I must do,” Uhuru said.

"This was his great investment to his people and I have given directives to have it completed soonest.”

“We must continue emulating him, his humility and the respect he had for people," Uhuru added.

Obwocha collapsed at his house in Nairobi, moments after attending a funeral of his relative in West Mugirango, Nyamira County.
