God bless UHURU KENYATTA! See what he did to NICHOLAS BETT’s family secretly! BETT must be smiling from heaven

Friday August 17, 2018 - Deputy President William Ruto on Thursday led Government officials in attending the burial of former world 400m hurdles champion Nicholas Bett.
Bett died in a road accident along Kapsabet Road last week and was buried at his Simat home in Uasin Gishu County.

President Uhuru Kenyatta did not attend the burial but his message was delivered by his deputy.

“We join the entire sporting fraternity globally in celebrating the life of our brother Bett.”

“We bring our condolences and sympathies because we have lost not just a person from this County but a national athlete and an international citizen,” Ruto said.

The DP said that Bett made the country proud as a police officer and was also a patriot and a gallant athlete for the country.

He said in 2013, an insurance scheme had been set up for police officers who die while on duty.

Ruto said the insurance scheme will give Bett’s family Sh2 million and the President had also sent him with an additional Sh2 million to start a bursary kitty for Bett’s children.
