FLORENCE KAJUJU finally takes over the “Ombudsman Office”! Will she perform to the level of OTIENDE OMOLLO?

Wednesday August 8,2018 - Former Meru County Women Representative, Florence Kajuju, has been sworn-in as the new chairperson of the Commission on Administration of Justice, which is also known as the office of the Ombudsman.

The ceremony was presided over by Chief Justice David Maraga where other commissioners Washington Opiyo and Lucy Kamunye were also sworn in.

In her speech, Kajiju said she will popularise her office which is little known to many Kenyans.

“Our presence is felt in only six counties.”

“We have 11 offices within Huduma Centres and we plan to open more offices in other Counties," Kajuju said.

She added that the office will serve as a bridge between the Judiciary and Kenyans.

She also said that they will partner with other public agencies to offer solutions to the public's problems.

“There are people who cannot afford legal services,"

"We will ensure disputes are settled in the right and easiest way possible," she said.
