ALFRED KETER reveals that RUTO has been begging him to stop calling him a thief in public for the sake of his 2022 Presidential bid

Friday August 17,2018 - Nandi Hills MP, Alfred Keter, has revealed that Deputy President William Ruto has been contacting him and urging him to stop labeling him a corrupt State officer.
Over the last six months, Keter has been asking Kenyans not to elect a thief during the 2022 presidential elections.

Speaking during an exclusive interview with Kass FM, the vocal MP claimed that Ruto recently called him to grumble out that Keter's sentiments were harming his bid.

“The other day, he (Ruto) called me complaining that I was spoiling his 2022 votes," Keter said on Thursday.

A few weeks ago, Keter had moved to the United States of America on a mission to explain to his 'Kalenjin brothers and sisters' why they must join other Kenyans in saving Kenya from the greed of one of them.

“Politics is about making sacrifices and being firm.”

“I will not allow a thief to ruin Kenya simply because he comes from my tribe," Keter said.

The MP, however, defended his remarks saying they were not in bad faith but were aimed at ensuring that politicians keep their word to the electorate.

Following his remarks, Ruto’s allies led by Nandi Senator, Samson Cherargei, have vowed to ensure that Keter is sent home in 2022.
