UHURU’s secret night meeting with RAILA in Kilifi 2 days before meeting ex-President MOI in Kabarak leaves RUTO in a shock

Monday July 30, 2018 - Deputy President William Ruto’s camp is reportedly up in arms against President Uhuru Kenyatta’s decision not to keep him in the loop over some of the decisions he makes.

This is after Uhuru met former Prime Minister Raila Odinga in secret two days before meeting with retired President Daniel Arap Moi.

Although details of the secret meeting between Raila and Uhuru remain scanty, sources have confirmed the meeting lasted for a whole five hours, indicating that they were in serious discussions.

It is rumoured that the meeting which was held at Vipingo Ridge in Kilifi County and had something to do with the looming Cabinet reshuffle.

However, according to reports from State House, Uhuru’s meeting with Raila was a mere coincidence as the President wanted to spend some time away from his office in Nairobi and therefore decided to jet to the Coast for a sabbatical and coincidentally bumped into Raila.

Ruto is said to have demanded to be informed of what the President plans before it is done saying he does not want to be reading things in the newspapers when they share the Government with Uhuru.
