UHURU is my buddy and my very close friend, he can’t abandon me in 2022 and support GIDEON MOI – RUTO confirms

Monday July 30, 2018 - Deputy President William Ruto has said that he has a close working relationship with President Uhuru Kenyatta who he termed as his boss and his political friend.

Speaking at Gaturi Primary School during the homecoming party for Kiharu MP, Ndindi Nyoro, Ruto revealed that President Uhuru Kenyatta has been  consulting him in every move he makers and dismissed reports that he is always kept in the dark.

The DP said all development projects are being implemented after consultations between him and the President and urged Kenyans to ignore claims of divisions in the ruling party.

“We are all working as a team, knowing that the Jubilee Government rose to power in 2013 through the overwhelming support of Kenyans,” said Ruto.
Claims of infighting have emerged following the divisive Mau Forest evictions and rumours are swelling around that the Mt Kenya bloc are not ready to back Ruto for President in 2022.

Ruto also stated that he will ensure that the Jubilee Party remains united even after President Uhuru Kenyatta retires in 2022.
