MUTURI defends GREEDY MPIGS who went to RUSSIA to watch WORLD CUP using taxpayer’s money

Friday July 13, 2018-Speaker of the National Assembly, Justin Muturi, has defended over 20 Kenyan lawmakers who went to Russia to watch World Cup using taxpayer’s money.

The over 20 lawmakers led by nominated Senator ,Millicent Omanga  and Siaya Senator , James Orengo were spotted loitering in Russia  waiting for the world cup finals  on Sunday  between Croatia and France.

What is surprising is that the lawmakers are using taxpayer’s money to fund their lavish trip to Moscow.

Now addressing the press on Thursday , Muturi said the trip by members of the Sports and Culture Committee and Bunge FC at a cost of Sh 45 million was not a “bad thing "

“Yes, some members have gone to Russia to watch the World Cup as members of the sports and culture committee, as well as Bunge FC. It’s not a bad thing. But they must prepare a report when they come back and table it in parliament. That’s the standard procedure,” Muturi stated.

What is shocking many Kenyans is that the MPs are spending the money in Russia yet there are no drugs in many hospitals in the country.
