MURKOMEN to take his protests to State House as he leads KALENIN MPs to meet UHURU this week! Fireworks expected

Tuesday July 31, 2018 - Members of Parliament from Rift Valley led by Senate Majority Leader, Kipchumba Murkomen, are seeking an audience with President Uhuru Kenyatta this week over the ongoing evictions of settlers in Maasai Mau Forest.

His was revealed by Konoin MP, Brighton Yegon, who said that his colleagues from Rift Valley, who have been very vocal about the evictions, have secured a date with President Uhuru Kenyatta to address the thorny issue once and for all.

“We have a date with the President this week over the ongoing operation to flush out families living in the Mau complex,” Yegon said. 

“We have secured an appointment with President Kenyatta and we are awaiting confirmation of the particular day this will happen in the course of the week,” he added.

The MP also revealed that Rift Valley leaders have held extensive talks on conservation and the evictions with the Deputy President William Ruto and now they want to talk to the President himself.
