Principal Western Campus – Kisumu
Job Objective: To manage the Campus in line with overall University Strategic Plan
Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Develop and implement strategies for the Campus;
·         Develop a business plan for the Campus focusing on recruitment and retention of students;
·         Inculcate a culture of research at the campus
·         Prepare and manage annual budget for the campus.
·         Oversee the day to day academic and administrative functions of the Campus;
·         Prepare progress report on academic and business performance of the campus.
·         In consultation with HR at Main Campus, overseeing the recruitment fulltime and part time  staff at the campus;
·         In consultation with Procurement Manager at the  Main Campus, overseeing the acquisition of goods and services at the campus;
·         Oversee management of facilities of the Campus;
·         Develop  a risk management framework of the Campus;
·         Promote welfare activities for both students and staff;
·         In consultation with Main Campus, enter into various negotiations and agreements on behalf of the institution relating to financial, contractual and community affairs;
·         Represent the campus in academic/non -academic meetings;
·         In liaison with main campus, carry out fund raising activities for the Campus; and
·         Mentor, train and develop staff
Qualifications and Experience
The candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience
·         PhD
·         7 to 8 years relevant experience with at least 5 years’ experience at a Senior Supervisory  level
·         Professional qualification in Accounting is an added advantage

Enrollment Coordinator – Marketing
Job Objective: Responsible for the recruitment and admission of new students
Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Respond to incoming telephone calls, emails and prospective students’ requests for information in a positive, realistic and friendly manner
·         Initiate and maintain relationships with stakeholders such as high schools, colleges and recruitment agencies
·         Communicate effectively to prospective students information on application procedures and student life on campus
·         Receive and review incoming applications and facilitate student through the admission process
·         Ensuring that the admissions office is welcoming and presentable to all visitors
·         Input data into ERP accurately and timely revision of information where necessary
·         Maintain a tidy filing system and ensure supply of office stationery
·         Support other university units by effective and timely communication of procedure and changes where necessary
·         Maintain and share departmental reports with line manager in a timely manner
·         Develop innovative communication and recruitment strategies in coordination with Enrollment Management team to increase student enrollment
·         Conduct research and surveys to determine current effectiveness and future needs
·         Organize and participate in external and internal recruitment activities
·         Maintain a database of student information, logs and students feedback to generate student report
Qualifications and Experience
The candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience
·         Bachelor degree in marketing, communication, public relations, or any other relevant course
·         One year relevant work experience is preferable

Enrollment Coordinator – Communications and Media Relations
Job Objective: Responsible for the development, design, and placement of media content, media relations, and procurement of marketing collateral
Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Engage university stakeholders to develop messages and produce content for website, social media, and traditional media
·         Build relationship with media to ensure strategic placement of adverts on media (print and broadcast)
·         Facilitate procurement of media including LPO and payment processing
·         Work with other members of the university to coordinate photo and video shoots on university campus
·         Work with content providers to ensure they supply highly-quality, original content that reflect popular search terms
·         Should ensure designs are easy for search engines to navigate and index
·         Collect web statistics for evaluation and reporting purposes
·         Communicate effectively, information on application procedures and student life campus to prospective student
·         Receive and review incoming applications and facilitate student through the admission process
·         Maintain and share departmental reports with line manager in a timely manner
·         Develop innovative communications and recruitment strategies in coordination with Enrollment Management team to increase student enrollment

Laboratory Technologist
Job Objective: The University Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for the provision and management of laboratory services at the medical clinic.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·         To collect blood and other samples from patients, conduct chemical analyses of body fluids, such as blood and urine, using microscope or automatic analyzer to detect abnormalities or diseases, records and keep records.
·         Analyze the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices.
·         To prepare solutions, reagents and stains in accordance with standard laboratory formulas and procedures.
·         He/ she will be expected to operate basic laboratory equipment such as microscope, analytical balance and PH meter.
·         The officer will maintain and make minor adjustments to equipment e.g. calibration and alignment.
·         Maintenance of local laboratory stock control records.
·         Prioritize samples according to urgency.
·         He/she shall comply with all relevant safety and infection control policies and procedures.
·         Set up, adjust, maintain and clean medical laboratory equipment.
·         Analyze the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices.
·         Assist in the reception area to login students, manage their files and work hand in hand with the nurse in the controlling of students flow.
Qualifications and Experience
The candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience
·         Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution
·         Excellent knowledge of laboratory operations and procedures.
·         MUST be able to carry out Laboratory Tests
·         Registration with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologists and Technicians Board.
·         Minimum 0ne year experience.

·         Excellent computer skills and ability to work with minimum supervision


Campus Life Coordinator
Job Summary: This position is responsible for the overall welfare of international students by providing support services from point of admission into KCA University to graduation
Duties and Responsibilities:
·         To implement International Students Service Strategy (ISSS) and policies as prescribed by the University;
·         To support international students to formalize their stay in the country in compliance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya and international laws;
·         To facilitate the timely acquisition of International Student’s clearance from the relevant Government Ministries and/or Departments;
·         To act as the Liaison Officer between the University and Department of Immigration on international students’ matters;
·         To plan, organize and coordinate exchange programmes with other universities across the globe.
·         To plan, organize and coordinate international trips for students.
·         To establish an effective tracking and reporting system for service provision of international students in areas such as hostels, hospitals, counseling, inventory and correspondence.
·         To liaise with the Coordinator-Student Relations in securing appropriate hostel facilities for International Students
·         To liaise with the University Counselor in the provision group counseling & training for international students on regular basis
·         To liaise with the Associate Dean, Enrollment Management and Student Affairs in the advancement of marketing activities targeting international markets
·         To establish International Students Club and oversee its operations as the patron.
·         Maintain inventory of documents related to International students
Academic Qualification
·         Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Business Management, Education, Marketing or related field
Professional Qualification
·         Public Relations, Marketing or related areas
·         Membership to any professional body on international relations
·         Two years of experience in international student advisory
Other Skills
·         Excellent oral and written communication skills
·         Good interpersonal skills
·         Accuracy and attention to detail
·         Ability to work long hours, often under pressure and on weekends
·         Knowledge of foreign language(s) will be an added advantage
