20 MPs and Senators go to Russia to watch World Cup semis and finals using taxpayers’ money! Is UHURU aware of this?

Thursday July 12, 2018 - More than 20 Kenyan lawmakers flew to Russia to watch World Cup games including the final between France and Croatia on Sunday.

On Sunday, Croatia who defeated England on Wednesday will meet France who defeated Belgium on Tuesday.

The match will be played at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

Kenyan MPs led by nominated Senator, Milicent Omanga, are already in Moscow waiting for the finals.

On Wednesday, Omanga was pictured celebrating with Croatian fans before the England vs Croatia match.

"In Moscow with Croatia fans ahead of clash with England.”

“I wish this team all the best," Omanga said.

According to sources, 14 MPs and 6 Senators have travelled in two batches at the expense of Kenyan taxpayers.

Among MPs who travelled between July 2nd and 5th include Victor Munyaka, Wafula Wamunyinyi, Sylvanus Martim and Peter Kaluma.

Besides Senator Omanga, a passionate supporter of Croatia now, others include Cleophas Malala, Aaron Cheruiyot and Judy Pareno.
