RAILA ODINGA reconciles KIIR and MACHAR after a meeting in South Africa - There is hope for peace in South Sudan.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, who was meant to meet Raila to discuss the situation in South Sudan, is in Canada for the G7 forum.

However, he weighed in on the discussion via a satellite link.

Raila Odinga is said to have been briefing him on the talks.

It is just a matter of time before the two leaders agree on the way forward for the sake of South Sudanese people.

“The meeting went very well.”

“We are optimistic that the two leaders (Kiir and Machar) are committed to lasting peace in South Sudan.”

“They reiterated that African issues are best solved by their leaders and Raila has so far remained a neutral arbitrator,” said one of Kiir’’s delegation that had accompanied Raila to South Africa.
