MIKE SONKO differs sharply with UHURU over the fate of NYS thieves like ANN NGIRITA! They should be given bail!!

…passed a Constitution that guarantees the rights of everyone and we should not, therefore, break the same law in the name of fighting corruption,” Sonko said.

Sonko’s sentiments were echoed by NYS suspects’ lawyers who accused the Judiciary of being manipulated by the Executive in denying their clients bail.

"We understand the pressure but this is not a court of public opinion.”

“The Judiciary is required to operate independently," lawyer Migos Migamba said.

"Notwithstanding the belief that this is a crime that should be punished instantly, this court must confine itself to the provisions of law."  Migamba added.
