Area Sales Manager

Our client in FMCG Industry is seeking to fill the position of Area Sales Manager – Nyanza Region. The Successful candidates will report to the Country Sales Manager.
Job Purpose;
To achieve area sales targets by delivering growth, profitability and cash flow targets to meet business objectives

Responsibilities

·         Implementing the sales strategy while monitoring the scope areas in line with overall strategy, policies, processes and procedures achieve the institutions objectives.
·         Acquiring new direct and indirect customers to enhance business scope.
·         Implement route to market, ensuring accurate and timely tracking & reporting of primary and secondary sales of teams.
·         Developing customer relationships through regular operational reviews to ensure that product availability, distribution and seize opportunities.
·         Ensuring achievement of secondary sales targets through distributors, monitoring and reporting to achieve respective set territory objectives.
·         Cascading the area sales targets through a performance management structure while inspiring team to achieve the section scorecard in line with overall objective.
·         Reporting market trends, competitive information on sales, product development and merchandising for growth of sales and profitability.
·         Achieve on time in-full and error free customer orders and liquidate slow moving and dead stocks.
·         Managing talent in respective territory  including coaching, mentoring, developing, motivating, training and evaluating staff to achieve highest levels of performance
·         Implementing best practices in respective areas of work
·         Implementing product quality, customer & Service Excellence and Change initiatives to achieve desired business plans and culture.

Qualifications

·         Degree in Sales and marketing.
·         At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.

Brand Executive
Our client in FMCG Industry is seeking to fill the position of Brand Executive, who will be responsible for developing and implementing product marketing & distribution strategies.

Responsibilities;

·         Creating and developing plans and strategies for development of the various products range.
·         Leading category management projects to optimize ranges and related merchandising.
·         Working alongside Sales teams to collect information and design strategies to boost performance.
·         Managing a large portfolio of different retails brands and developing appropriate strategies for each.
·         Assists in developing and executing promotional initiatives to profitably increase consumption within budgeted parameters.

·         Running marketing campaigns /activation in various parts for the country.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or related field.
·         At least 3 years in a similar role (Brand/Product marketing).
·         Previous experience working with a PR/Marketing agency an added advantage
·         Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
·         He/ She should possess good communication and interpersonal skills.


National Sales Manager
Job Summary: Lead and manage a high performance sales team to effectively achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities;

·         Develop new markets and maintain existing ones.
·         Develop Route to Market strategies
·         Performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems
·         Coaching the sales team, monitoring their performance to assist them meet their individual targets.
·          Conduct market research and offer recommendations about new products and/or designs to resources and introduce in the market.
·         Closely monitor market trends and competitive landscape to define pricing strategy for each product category.
·         Work with management to design & implement ideas and strategies to introduce new product lines.
·         Support penetration into new markets.
·         Regularly update products weekly consumption – keeping in mind previous stock out, seasonality and market trends.

Qualifications

·         Minimum degree in Marketing or Business related field of study.
·         Minimum 8 years’ experience in FMCG industry
·         At least 5 years managing sales teams.
·         Proven sales track record
·         Good customer service
·         Result oriented
·         Good communication skills
·         Should be goal oriented and have a proven track of leadership
·         Good interpersonal skills
·         Experience in managing stockists and direct sales
